Tie it low

Fashion week and award season are both in full effect.  I love seeeing what’s new in fashion and what hairstyles are trending.  Joan Rivers always asked, “who are you wearing? “. I just want to know what hairstyle the celebs and models have.

Looking at New york fashion week and the Emmys I have to say amongst all the trending hairstlyes I  loving having to tie your hair low.

In my last blog I talked about how the sleek look made a comeback at the VMA awards. It looks like its the one to have.  At the Rodarte’s runway we see romance is still alive with the lowbun secured by tule and lace. You can have fun accesorising your bun but keep the rest of the hair sleek.Hair pieces have been spotted as the new trend by Vogue so go for it. Ariel winter had a sophisticated sleek look with a low bun. Its abosloutely gorgeous. Simple, chic and elegant you can’t go wrong.

It doesn’t have to be all serious you can play around low tie.  Felicity Huffman was a dream on the red carpet at the Emmys. She had a loose bun and left out some hair, teased it a bit for a little volume. If you want a change from the bold sleek look just soften it up like Feilicity Huffman.  Emilia Clarke’s hair is a far cry from the blonde locks she normally has in Game of thrones.  I like that it she got some dimension going with some sleek parts, and a small wave.  The knot at the back is something that we can all do. You don’t have to be a pro to tie that knot.  Brush your hair,  pull a bit of hair at the side to create that little wave and tie up.  You are good to go.  I love when celebrities have hairstyles that anyone can do at home and don’t have to a stylist.

Adrienne Bailon postef this hairstyle on her Instagram.  I don’t know about you but I was reposting it and trying it out on myself and it looked great. For this season its one to try with a casual or formal look.  Just remeber to make the plait loose but secure.

This fall we are set with a really easy and trendy hairstyles. For some that don’t have time or just want a hairstlye that can fit with any style I think this is the go to trend.

P. S If you get caught in the rain.  Just sleek it back and tie it low.
